Our Intern from Kraków, Poland

Aleksandra Czubak is an attorney at law. She graduated from the faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. [In 2015 she passed Bar Exam and she entered into the list of attorney in Poland. She specialises in civil law, company law and international law. Within the framework of her previous experience, she has provided services to Polish and foreign clients during negotiations as well as in representing clients before common courts of law. She is also interested in the legal aspect of economic cooperation between Poland and Japan.

Apart from the legal studies, she had graduated also from Far East Culture Department at the Jagiellonian University. Her specialization was Japanese culture and her thesis was about cultural influence on the Japanese law and its development over a period of time.

She comes from Kraków, Poland. The city is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Krakow is situated on the Vistula River, 100 km from Tatra Mountains. Krakow dates back to the 7th century. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life. In 1978, UNESCO placed Kraków Old Town on the first-ever list of World Heritage Sites. Recently, Kraków was named European Capital of Culture. The city would also host the next World Youth Day in 2016. Kraków is also a centre of education. Jagiellonian University is the oldest university in Poland and was founded in 1364.
