- (1) Dismissal and Dispute Resolution
Reflecting recent financial situation in Japan, we have many inquiries from companies and employees in relation to the disputes arising from the dismissal of or payment to employees. At first, we try to settle the case through out-of-court negotiation in amicable ways. However, in case the dispute cannot be settled through the negotiation, we may file the case with Labor Dispute Determination Committee (a type of ADR) or the district court in Japan, as long as Japanese courts have jurisdiction on the case. - (2) Drafting of Employment Agreement, Etc.
We routinely provide documentation service in relation to employment issues, such as employment contract, non-competition agreement, confidential agreement, separation agreement etc. - (3) Documentation of Work Rules
We draft work rules and other corporate regulations in relation to work conditions. We also represent clients for the filing of those regulations with local Labor Standards Office.
